Rev. Herschel L. Owens lll
Pastor Owens was the first to Pastor New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church. He along with others came together and established New Freedom MBC in January 1980. Him and his Wife of 50 plus years, Ann Owens, faithfully served New Freedom for 38 years till his retirement in Nov. 2018. He now presides as Pastor Emeritus at the Church.
